Correct, yes. I suppose they didn't want kids getting upset about being the first to lose and having to watch the others finish up to see who ultimately wins. Which is a shame because it would teach kids a valuable lesson in being a good sport and continue to cheer on someone even though you lost.

That's the kind of shit-thinking that baffles me. Is it because GO brought in so many of the nostalgiacucks and normies again, that GF crippled Gen 7 to be so handholding for them if they decided to get back into the actual games?

That would be a fun idea! Or perhaps, you go into bystander mode and have to play a mini-game where you rack up as many cheers as possible to help boost the Pokemon/player you want to see win. Anything that would have made it fun at least for the loser player to ease the sting of a loss.

I'd have played if it it didn't end the second someone faints because then it comes down to fastest mon wins if it can 1 shot something basically unless everyone runs protect
