A note to fan artists: the "bubble" is more like a water drop, as it breaths water. If you draw it underwater, there should be no bubble to speak of.

It's kinda weird that it would work even on land. Fictional universe I know but Araquanid is a GIANT spider. If it were small it would work, but water would just fall right off of you if you were that big. Square cube law, bro.

Honestly, fuck whoever has made the decision to not give any of the spider pokemon eight legs. The only reason I can come up with as to why you'd give them less than eight legs is so you don't frighten off the arachnophobes, which is just bullshit.

It's an awesome pokemon don't get me wrong, but it'd be better if it actually had eight legs.

Giratina has 6 legs and 2 wings, that's eight limbs right there, 9 if you count the tail.

Tentacruel's model had 10 tentacles last I checked.

Drapion has 7 limbs; 4 legs 2 arms and a tail.

Harder to animate, sure, hard enough to be an excuse for not adding them? Nope.
