Fuck, I’ll explain it this way. Sun and moon sold 14.69 million copies as of July. If they gave a penny to a dude from each copy sold it would be $146,900. Now if he worked 40 hours a week working on animations for the Pokémon solely he would be making $70 an hour. Pretty solid pay for only a penny per game sold, otherwise notated as .025% of a game sale that he is one out of a hundred employees yeah? Now, dude has 40 hours a week, which means he has 2,080 hours to work on Pokémon animations for a penny per game sold. If he spent equal time on each Pokémon in existence in one year he would have 2.6 hours per Pokémon. Now imagine you are paying this dude $146,000 a year and he gives you pic related, and he has two and a half hours to do it and it cost you $170...you would think he shit the bed or took you for a ride right? All I am asking is a penny per game bought be put into a fund to pay someone who will actually give a rats ass about it.
