Rotom is easily the most annoying permanent companion a game ever had.
You could easily ignore Navi and Tatl.
Midna is for a companion surprisingly silent.
Fi is... well, the sound gets annoying after a while, but that's it.
In skyrim your followers give sometimes a supposed-to-be funny remark about something, but they can carry stuff.
But rotom? God...

But it's absolute "never ending tutorial"-shit for everyone who ever played a Pokemon game (or even any game) before
