I don't like that we have two Kahunas in an Elite Four. I mean, it was cool to have them in but imagine the idea of having Elite Four of Alola are all the Kahunas....that wouldn't be surprising.

I was wondering why I never fought him at Mt. Hokulani, like at all.

Incidentally with the E4 I worked from right to left, so it didn't even occur to me that the symbol was probably changed from Fighting to Steel on the door.

That's what it should have been. The "island challenge" literally ends with an E4 battle against all the Kahunas, the game states that multiple times during the story, but because Kukui has such a rocking boner for Kanto and just had to build his own League, only half of them actually ended up being in the E4 fight that island challengers usually fight all of them in. I'm just saying that story-wise it's dumb.

like imagine this, the person you beat the first time is replaced by the challenger and you as the champion are replaced by the challenger if you lose to either the challenger or the elite 4
example
>beat acerola first
>challenger is kukui
>acerolas room is replaced by kukui on the next run
and then after a few runs acerola would be challenger

Since they already changed things up with the title defense, would it be too far fetched to have had the Kahunas in place of the E4 for the first challenge, with a new E4 later on?

Still not keen on the Champion having to rematch the E4, but whatever.
