you got fucked their separate stories changes a lot but not in any good way compared to the original they lose what made them THEM and they multivations dont make as much sense neither does Lusamines redemption

you probably got something out of this its pretty neat what they did and they change in some good ways although its not that great written and since they arent really characters you feel alot other than Haus (personal) annoyance and Guzmas occasional moments
yeah i liked Lillie in SM and i still do but shes ruined and less likable her SM has her more afraid of her mother and she grows more from being with you which eventually leads to her falling for you theres a mentioning from an old hawaiian song which is the combination of a Lily flower and a Sunflower which is a mirror of the exeggutor island scene which is removed in USUM together with her Tapu scene with you and the fireworks and her impactful goodbye and end cutscene with the pictures with the end text being her having returned to you
Generally its pretty bad writing for the most part but with occasional good spots
if you want me to go in detail with certain characters writing i can tell you about all three versions and how they differ and why base SM are the general best with the Aether family although the mentioning of Mohn is good in USUM they do him wrong but the children never mentioning him after that 1 scene and Lillie never touches upon it and neither does Gladion
