Dude, gen 7 PMD is coming out on the Switch next year. It was mentioned in an interview with the president of The Pokémon Company and it follows the well established pattern.

That sounds like a better motivation for Necrozma in the main games than the usual "misunderstood" angle.

I'll admit I did like the bittercold seeing how it fit in with the games story, but the darkmatter was a letdown and would of been much more interesting if they kept Yvetal as the final boss.
My ideal would be GtI with the same plot but the boss fight itself was the improved darkmatter one, while SMD had the same plot with Yvetal as the main boss.
