>>34248047I wouldn't say Lusamine is worse than she was in SM but she's definitely less interesting. Being overzealous and overprotective because of the loss of her husband is a good character motivation and I like that the blame is decidedly on her in this scenario but the Nihilego neurotoxin was a much more interesting angle to take. Not to mention Lusamine's role is downplayed majorly in USUM so despite everything being more of her own fault it doesn't end up mattering as much.
The real shame is how tacked on the URS is. I would have much rather had them either barely show up or be removed entirely, the way they're constantly shoehorned into random moments of the game is a little too tryhard for me.
