It's already pretty good, I like how you can access the pokedex and the map by touching different areas on it. But anyways here are some improvements
>new pokedex entry appears on bottom screen after you nickname/send to box instead of interrupting gameplay every time you catch/evolve something
>hold down on touch screen to make it talk faster for story-related things, have it only talk to you if you tap it otherwise
>have multiple modes for the screen like the habitat list/dexnav showing what pokemon you can catch, a full regional map showing time, day or night, and weather patterns (maybe GF could finally add in natural Sunny Day areas)
>let you put your own markers on the map like in HGSS pokegear

Rotom keeps track of the available pokemon in an area and how to locate them.

It can be upgraded to allow players to search for specific pokemon and "chain" encounters like ORAS.

Roto tickets are accumulated over time. The player must actively click on an icon to acquire the accumulated tickets.

Rotom behaves like 99% of all in game pokemon and shuts the fuck up.

It also serves as a permanent dowsing machine.

Rotom does not interrupt the starts of battles against new pokemon.

Have to it was cool the first time it did this, but it got very annoying quickly, so much so that I transferred all my old Pokemon in using bank.
