Typically I’m not one to post about an e-celeb but I couldn’t ignore this. Now he’s just trying too hard to act like USUM is amazing. I agree it’s not as bad as /vp/ is acting but this is just ridiculous.

Probably not, but he needs the games to be good or else he's out of a job as he won't get ad revenue from serebii.net, if people don't like newer pokemon then less people will visit his site. Another thing is that his whole website is pokemon, so if he doesn't like the series as a whole and doesn't care about updating his site or shutting it down he's also out of a job.

Yeah, but he probably wants every little penny he can get anyway. The second point could be worse than I though as perhaps he doesn't like the series anymore, but has to pretend to enjoy it as it pays him, and it's not like a paid review or some similar shit, as you can forget about that a week later, it's because he runs a fan site of a continuously updating series, and it won't look good if he's not a fan anymore, maybe he's suffering through shilling the series to look like a fan to get his pennies.Now imagine if that was our full time job, true punishment.

Actually, I think this is the one tweet he made that I actually agree with even though I hate USUM. The little NPC interactions and quests were more fun than the shitty main story. It made it feel like you personally know everyone in the region.

It's fine to be positive about the games, but I can't comprehend this urge to shill them and attack every negative viewpoint at every waking moment. That's going to deter a fair few amount of people from both his site and the games, including those who were ambivalent but not hateful of the games, and may have been on the fence about it. Side quests are useless and stupid without some kind of quest log that tracks both your invidivual and overall progress.

It needs a system more like in Ranger 2 and also there should be a huge quest unlocked when all others are finished.
