>>34262310Dyshoria isn't really about fitting the commonly held stereotype in any way. I know a lot of trans chicks who're still into more "masculine" hobbies like watching sports or video games (which some people still see as a boyish hobby), and I know transmen who're into cute things and sewing and making cloths or shoujo anime.
Dysphoria is like, looking at your body and feeling anxious and disgusted every time you see it. I can't speak for transwomen,
but as a post-op trans man you notice everything which doesn't fit your internal view of yourself; it triggers anxiety, depression, self loathing, suicidal tenancies, etc. because there isn't any other way other than transitioning to get rid of dysphoria. I've had transgender friends who've willingly put themselves through intense and invasive therapy to rid themselves of dysphoria, and popped out of it only feeling more certain they're transgender.
Once I'd been on hormones for about a year and a half, some of my dysphoria cleared up, and once I had chest surgery, pretty much all dysphoria was gone, and I could function like a ""normal"" human again, I got a good job, started working out, ended up making a lot more friends and contacts, etc...
