I haven't gone hard on a Pokemon game since Gen 4 so I decided to get Ultra Sun and honestly, I'm loving it! Does it just get so much hate from people who already bought Sun or Moon and don't want to spend money on the game again? I can understand it from that perspective, but honestly, I'm genuinely having a blast with this game.

Otherwise, USUM is a solid addition to the franchise. The major thing is that it's hardly any different than SM. If you spent 40$ on SM and then purchased USUM, you'd have some buyers remorse.

SM was obviously an incomplete game. There were numerous construction sites that had fans anticipating new facilities or gyms. What they received was a photoclub. Then they were teased with Lt. surge's gym replica, but were again disappointed. Its just that Game freak continually teases features that are not available in the games. They keep taunting their fanbase with features they refuse to reimplement.
