What kind of rival do you want in the next gen? Do you want them to be helpful, or just battle you? How involved with the plot should they be?

SM was nice because they gave us one of each kind with Hau (Friendly) and Gladion (Classic rival)

Hopefully they go a similar route again, but I always like rivals best when have more history with your player character like Blue, Cheren and Barry

Id like a girl who's bratty and very up herself initially, although still acts helpful to you. Every official source says Cheren and Bianca are your true rivals in BW.
Even Bulbapedo and Serebii puts them as your rival.
Fucking Nfags always trying to push the importance of him and their awful gen as being the peak of Pokemon when it was probably the downfall and the start of everything with Pokemon.

Gen 5 is the fire, Gen 6 is the accelerant, and Gen 7 is the winds blowing on the fire to make it stronger.
