>>34274441It really would seem that way from how they set up this theoretically infinite series of worlds out in space on a sci-fi theme that's only been expanding recently. Plus there was how Giovanni said that RR will never die and how he looked right in the camera when thinking about what world he will mess with next, with the camera lingering after he warped away. Also consider that we already had foreshadowing for Alola 4 years ago when XY first came out with the Strange Souvenir. Presumably they may want to hint at whatever the next generation is, and if that's the case the only thing I could think of would be yet another Kanto game, or a game set on a different planet in a different universe. Considering there have been no other blatant hints like the tiki statue explicitly stated to come from another region.
Then again after ORAS it seemed like we were about to get answers for AZ, follow up on AZOTH and Team E, Champion Wallace and the Battle Frontier so we may never know.
