It was literally as simple as putting a Preschooler npc in Kiawe's house and have her say something about her brother saying she's too young to help out around the place of some bullshit like that. They didn't even bother to make proper character models for Lana's sisters either.
The more I play this game the more I start to think the whole 'they spent 11 months vacationing in Hawaii and 1 month actually working on the game' argument has merits to it.
