Pokedex entries will forever be complete nonsense. That's just the way it is.

You'd think that the information that comes straight from the game would be the most reliable, and yet here we are with mach 3 falcon pigeons and lava snails hotter than the sun

Why do they say that staring into Shedinja's back hole will make you lose your soul, and then the hole is the FIRST AND ONLY thing you see when you send out Shedinja? Why does one of Gengar's entries tell you to just "give up"? It's like someone's just trying to mess with you, which is really, REALLY weird when it's coming from the equivalent of a field guide in the Pokemon world

The Shedinja thing is basically folklore, like making a wish on a wishbone won't actually grant you a wish, and the Gengar line did come from the Rotom dex, a fellow ghost type

What always made me laugh about that Gengar dex entry is that when you have a mon with Sucker Punch and Pursuit in your arsenal, it's the Gengar who has to give up!
