>>34287991Basically, several old "releases" from Ash's. These are the changes I would do:
1º) Butterfree: The original one would still be freed, but Ash will capture the one he befriended back when he traveled back to Kanto with Cilan and Iris.
2º) Primeape: He should have returned for the Kanto League, just like other Pokemon did; like Gliscor, Goodra, Charizard and Squirtle. After the League, he would stay at Oak's Lab.
3º) Pidgeot: Instead of being freed, Pidgeot would have stayed at Oak's Lab to protect the Bird Pokemon, just like Bulbasaur keeps peace between Grass Types.
4º) Lapras: Freed after the Orange Islands, but when they met again in Johto, he stayed with Ash to travel through the Whirlpool Islands. Then, now in Alola, Lapras could return.
5º) Squirtle: Making the Squirtle Squad useless without their leader was lame. He could help Bulbasaur to keep peace at Oak's with Water types.
