I don't think I've ever shouted "leave me the fuck alone" at any videogame more times than ultra sun. Every time you take two steps some NPC is dragging you into their issues with a cutscene and mandatory battle, not even part of the story.
I just went around looking for stickers I've missed and as I stepped into a building some cunts decided I should fight for them to get married. I had no choice and was immediately thrust into battle. I shut off the game there.
