How to make him appear?
Serebii and many other people are saying he appears rarely after a month from when you defeated Necrozma but i cant find him even when changing my 3DS Date. When i changed the Date to the 1st of another month to battle Lusamine it worked...

He's a rare challenger even after the month wait. Just keep trying, it's like searching for those 1 percent pokemon in the field. Anyway it doesn't have to be the first of the month, Lusamine is your opponent on those days, for the rest it's always random excluding her

From what I've heard he's unlockable after you beat Lusamine, but who knows if that's true. He probably just uses the same team anyways so I really could care less.

Wait, advancing the clock works for title defenses? When I tried to do that to make the berries in Poke Pelago work it didn't do jack shit. I can't believe how inconsistent Game Freak is sometimes.

You don't need to fight Lusamine.
I fought him randomly on Title Defense.
What probably unlocks him is talking to Wicke who tells you he went to train in Kanto, and also go to his old motel room.

Game Freak patched that bug in Pelago a while ago for SM and USUM is just SM's base. So it doesn't work anymore.

Title Defense won't affect it, it's just checking the day.
Things like Plaza, Daily Events, Berries regrowing in the overworld will stop though.

I don't know man. Maybe kids have really long attention spans so they don't mind waiting, especially since they have school. But me personally, I'd rather just play a game that doesn't suck ass.

Pelago is great once you overcome the hurdle.
12 hours for EV berries that net you about 14 per item is great.
In 1 week, you could have probably over 500 of each EV berry.
That's more than what you ever could've gotten in ORAS even if you knew how to plant shit and check everyday.

That's why I don't get why these retards on /vp/ always say that you need to fight Lusamine first.
You don't. He just appears randomly. But it's probably due to talking to Wicke in the postgame.

What? It says it takes 48 hours for them to grow. Besides at least in ORAS all you had to do was plant the berry in the soil and that was it.

In USUM you have to unlock Pelago, then listen to Mohn lecture you for 5 minutes about bullshit, then collect 15 Pokemon just to unlock the fucking berry island, and THEN you can start growing them.

Also Pelago isn't that bad once you get to set it up.
Just keep catching Pokemon which should be easy for any regular player like me, or a Bankfag.
Either way, once you develop the islands by just selling your rainbow/patterned beans, and farming the first island, it's literally faster than anything ORAS could've done.
