Do you think Red would end up being paired with Ho-Oh someday? It really seems fitting considering its most famous anime counterpart (Ash) is the character most usually depicted with the rainbow bird already and that both Ho-Oh and Lugia are "third/master/main legendaries" so it would make sense for them to be catched for Johto and Kanto protagonist (also isn't like they aren't literal neighbors, there's 5 minutes of trip between Pallet Town and Johto region)
