I personally don't see it dying in my lifetime. And I'm not saying this because I'm a fan, but because of how successful the franchise is as a whole. And when I say "dying" I mean like Digimon dead.

Do you it having a long shelf life, and becoming so enwoven into culture that it becomes sort of a icon? (Think Batman, Superman, etc.)
