Aside from that they really should just throw in a service at Pokemon Centers that lets you swap your pokemon into another ball. Just have it destroy the ball it's in already so you don't have people running around catching Pidgey's in cherish balls or recycling their master ball endlessly and there's no reason not to do it. I spent forever breeding a perfect IV shiny starter with a hidden ability and god dammit I want it in a matching ball, but because of breeding mechanics I can't have it and that makes me irrationally angry. Do that or bring back ball seals or something so I can just catch everything in premier balls and customize the particle effects to suit my needs. White pokeball that releases a fiery orange burst and explosion effects for a fire mon and purple and smoke effects for a ghost? Yes please.
