Could it be easier agreed upon that Gen 7 is the worst gen? it innovated with cutscenes and overworld graphics, but in exchange gave us mostly terrible/non-competitive new monsters and made "one-use hyper beams" as the gimmick of the generation. not to mention that it removed features, but they always do that.
