Jesus fucking christ. So not only do you have to scavenge for friend codes, or win the lottery and find a random player who actually plays this fucking mode, even adding them as a VIP doesn't let you keep them. You can't use them if they're not regularly online.

Why do you have to jump through fucking hoops for this mode to be playable at all? Gamefreak cocksuckers will defend this.

Are you not able to set which Pokemon other players will have available to use in Battle Agency? Are the players only able to choose from just a random selection of Pokemon from another player's party or something?

We at GameFreak realized that if ALL regions had Fun, then they wouldn't be as unique and memorable anymore.
It is for this reason why we put an emphasis on unfun, but eventually, that too will have to be abandoned to ensure Alola remains unique and memorable.
Perhaps instead of just being unfun, Pokemon on Switch will be... Mediocre.

It's only random if they're a SM player or haven't picked one yet. Otherwise it's what they currently have selected that day. If they haven't updated for the day, you don't get to use them so nobody can squat on ubers.

This. There's more than enough incentive to add guests so you have more team options. The leveling system just ruins the mode completely. Like a deliberate fuck you to people's requests.

Grade 0 absolutely ruins the Agency. Either you're underpowered, or overpowered because you added some assholes online that are grade 50. It's going to be basically impossible to get anything but Grade 0 in a few months too, so it's ruined forever

Not to mention that even with recruits at or above your level, you can get completely walled by something that outspeeds and one shots your whole team due to scarfs or the random weather of the day. Currently stuck at a mega blaziken in sunny weather that just flare blitz every single option I have. And it's not like you lose and the enemy changes, teams stay the fucking same until you beat them. Fuck this mode.
