>>34321845I've done this a bunch of times, and I was able to successfully transfer some rare items from Sun to Ultra Sun. It's just a little GTS trickery:
>1. Attach items you want to trade from old game to new game on high-level Pokémon in old game.>2. Catch a bunch of derps/shitmons in new game.>3. Put shitmon from new game up on GTS, but request the specific Pokémon in your old game that's holding the item. If you can't find them alphabetically in the Pokédex, scroll down past the letters to find the "What Pokémon?" option and enter their name manually. Trust me, it'll work.>4. Go to GTS in old game, and seek the low-level shitmon.>5. Find your new game trainer and shitmon (it helps if you nickname your shitmons, making them slightly easier to find).>6. Trade with yourself!Warning: Mega Stones are not able to be traded. Don't know about Z-Crystals, but I assume they're no good either.
