The anime threads are filled with people debating whether one will evolve and the other not evolve. Those who say Rowlett will evolve and Litten won't are "owlcucks" and those who say Litten will evolve and Rowlett won't are "barafags". And they all absolutely hate each other.
(Weird how none of them direct their aggression towards the writers of the anime for routinely failing to develop Ash and his team, and for diverging so hard from the games' plot to the point of almost entirely writing Team Skull out, but whatever.)
