Part of the deal. but don't kid yourself. Your children's RPG is far from perfect. I love Pokémon, but these games are nigh unplayable if you recently ran through Sun/Moon.
The tedium of having to watch the same cutscenes but slightly different. The super linear handholdy gameplay. It's plain boring. Only the biggest Pokémon cocksuckers will be forcing themselves through this game. A theme park ride loses its appeal after the billionth time. For most people, anyway. As for me? I rather play on showdown. Less tedious. Less braindead. Still Pokémon.
