Bad. Earthquake does like 60% to Toxapex after the Clangorous boost, so it just gets hazed before it can do anything significant. Fairies can also switch in to prevent the boost and it's slow as fug.

Kimmo-o is good, it’s just not on Garchomp’s and Tyranitar’s level. They’re the only pseudos that are good in OU without their megas, and Tyranitar is only as good as it is because sand basically gives it more bst than the others and literally none of Garchomp’s stats are wasted at all.

I'm still trying to adjust to UU with Koomo-O in it. From the looks of the UU room on PS it's pretty strong, I could see it being A+ potentially. Phazers will get a lot more common. Maybe a fast haze user. Most Kommo-o I see run a semi-bulky spread with I think it's 188 speed evs to outrun Pidgeot after a boost? That's liable to change though he's still fairly new to the tier.

Garchomp is the better revenge killer, scarfmence is the better cleaner, but OU's saturation of fairies makes a moxie scarf outrage snowball basically impossible. Scarfchomp struggles to clean late game because both of its STABs have an important immunity and it's relatively low powered but it will situationally win you a few games where your opponent has no ground immunities and everyone has been worn down to the 50-70% hp level. But it's definitely primarily a revenge killer.

Scarfchomp as I said isn't the best, but it 1v1's all the tapu's (except lele who needs some chip to confirm the kill)

Is Tspikes still vastly superior to spikes? I was thinking of a spike stacking team with either a banded priority cleaner or a scarf cleaner. Also, scarfchomp is still the only really relevant chomp right? It's not gen VI anymore where fatchomp was common?

t-spikes are better simply because of how easily toxapex can set them up, if HO with suicide lead, spikes are probably better

I'm a different guy, I wasn't actually asking about using scarfchomp, I was more asking if there's anything besides scarf I can reasonably run on chomp. (Back in gen V I was one of those Dtail+Rocky helmet fat chomp faggots. Actually worked really well then but it's super outdated) I was thinking maybe a 3 attacks + SR with either Life Orb or a Z crystal.

I wasn't thinking HO, since the only Pokemon that gets stealth rock and spikes and isn't a sitting duck/has some semblance of offense is fucking crustle, and spikes without rocks is pretty underwhelming. More a hazard stacking defensive core with a no-set up wall breaker and no-set up cleaner, the latter probably a choice user.

Are any SR variants of Chomp viable or is it just scarf and SD right now? I may love fatchomp but if physically oriented HO isn't viable or prevalent he's not viable either.

What about Aurora veil based set-up HO? Or is OU pretty much just fat balance right now?

Lycanroc-Dusk is currently in OU because that's where new Pokemon start. Of course it doesn't have a ranking there because it is a shitmon.

It will eventually fall to PU in the coming months and be only slightly more viable than its brothers.

You shouldn't use Garchomp at all, it's unironically a shitmon these days. It's worse than Lando T at everything, even Scarf. If you need a Scarfer that can outspeed +1 base 100s you just use Grenigger(best scarfer in the game), Kartana, Keldeo, or even Blacephalon.

ferro with spikes and gren with 4 attacks makes infinitely more sense. Ferro should be the one with helmet instead of Lando too, since you're stacking barbs and helmet and Ferro has seeds to replenish while lando has no recovery.

He also gets extrasensory but that's not really relevant to either himself or your team. It was only used last gen pre-ORAS to hit Rotom-W. You could run a mixed Gren with either Low kick or gunk shot.

It's a shame you're so dependent on Lando-T to check fighting types otherwise I'd unironically suggest switching to defensive rocky helmet Garchomp with stealth rock and dragon tail.

Yep, that one. That pokemon that sits at 40% usage consistently. So you might ask, why? Why ban Landorus? Well, lets explore that. Landorus has many many sets in the OU metagame, each as viable as the last. These include lead rocks, offensive rocks, defensive, scarf and even double dance. Landorus's infamous Supersonic Skystrike set is actually unwallable in the OU Metagame, no counters. Landorus's versitility lets it sit atop the OU Viability rankings and will remain there for the rest of the gen. So why do we keep this cancer in our metagame, you ask? I don't really have an answer without getting into conspiracies but it should be plainly obvious to anyone with a modicum of skill that Landorus is overcentralizing the metagame and must be banned.

Is Ultra Necrozma any good in Ubers? I'm kind of interesting about making a team with it.

Also is there a good guide or similar to follow when creating teams? I'm absolutely fucking garbage at making good teams most of the time, and while I try to follow some set rules I usually end up having some stuff that's weak. Sometimes I'll get something good but it feels more like a fluke if anything.

Is it okay if I just steal sets from shit like Pokeaim? I know that might be a meme but I'm honestly a bit stumped as to what to use.

I just like building teams based on things I like using, so I end up throwing some shit together that isn't totally helpless but is a bit messy. I had a old Pory-Z team that was okay but it had an Araquanid and the Mega is banned, and I'm not super sure where to go from what I have now.

Sorry if I sound like a retard asking all of this. I really want to get more into competitive but I'm always driven off after making a really shitty team that I get too worried to actually try it out.

Only attacking moves are Drain Punch & Shadow Claw. Other options are EQ for Toxapex and Iron Head for maximum Fairy pwnage.

With Salac Berry boost it outspeeds Koko and with sticky webs it fails only to ouspeed Scarf Lando & Lati@s. Everything else dies to 1/2 hits after SR depending on how frail the mon actually is.

Singles is pretty easy. Get a Durant with Turant and Entrainment, give it a Choice Scarf, and have a pokemon that knows Protect and a boosting move.
Just let Durant faint after using Entrainment then Protect and Boost with your other pokemon.

Auto terrain and weather don't single handedly make every single fast Pokemon in your team useless and its only counter would be said auto trick room Pokemon to cancel it out, which in turn makes the match very predictable if you want to keep the speed advantage and it'd be a clusterfuck to use fast mons in the same team as that pokemon.

Make a Trick Room team with your auto trick room setter. Make it as airtight as possible and include variations in its build. Ok got it? Now explain how every single other archetype should fight it.
The only thing that may get kinda close to winning is stall and even then they'd have trouble with stupidly hard hitters like A-Marowak and M-Mawile.
Keep in mind Auto trick room cannot be taunted so it's not just one turn.

You fail to address how every scarfer would be downright a hindrance with the presence of this Pokemon, you fail to address how every fast and frail Pokemon is useless against this Pokemon, and how the entire meta would centralize around this Pokemon since it fucks speed tiers upside down.You have no idea about game design, you're retarded, and if everything is right with this world Gamefreak will never make this Pokemon happen.

Other field effect plays have other things that can switch in and override said field effect to turn the tide, Trick Room only has trick room too.

Man, I hate this new timer. Constantly pressuring you to make quick decisions because apparently no one is allowed to think properly about your moves and their consequences or you're timer stalling.

Time to move to the regular doubles ladder, I guess. Also, Staka is pretty fun to use, but a bit difficult too.

Trying to make a mono bug team and can't decide between escavlier or durant, scizor is a bit boring and I want to experiment a bit. Durant is fast and has hustle but needs to set up hone claws to not be a total gamble. Escavalier can hit hard with a choice band but is slow as fuck and then is obviously locked into whatever it using, most likely either being megahorn or iron head. What do you guys suggest?

Magearna takes a big sloppy shit on it if it doesn't anything to hit it with, and on it's most common mixed set (Clanging, CC, Poison Jab and DPulse) it doesn't. In UU it was really quite good and it's banned now (citation? i dont play uu that much, more ou and lc)

If you're wanting to run it on OU teams, make sure something on it hits Mag or Pex and watch for protean Greninja or the Specs Ash Gren set and it puts in some work, just don't expect the boosts to win you games

I dunno man I've never liked the Iron head Jirachi sets because it feels wasteful to have to run 252+ speed on a Pokemon that has such great defensive qualities, and iron head's flinch chance feels like it's mostly an annoyance unless I were like, banking on flinch chance to stall for toxic damage or something. I've always preferred the special Jirachis.
