I for one am looking forward to paying almost twice as much for a Pokemon game from now on, despite the fact that there still won't be any noteworthy innovations.

Pokemon games are cheap and portable, switch games are expensive and clumsy to lug around. Smartphone games would have been a better solution.

The Switch is actually going to save a lot of people money because now you only need one system to play all Nintendo games, as opposed to buying a console and a handheld separately. And the Switch is reasonably priced too, just slightly more expensive than a launch 3DS. Cheapskates should be happy.
