>>34337501Nope. Petshop of Horrors and Yu Yu Halusho manga. Both old, full of prettyboys and well-known to middle-aged Japanese fujoshi (but not overseas much.) They both have mythical animals like Pokemon and that's sort of my thing, so I'm familiar with both series. Both chars are apparently very stealable, with a fox-form Kurama gracing the popular manga Naruto and a copy-and-pasted (but with a shorter haircut) version of Count D appearing as Yuuko Ichihara's flunkie/successor in xxxHOLIC (they even gave him Chinese clothes and different-colored eyes, IN THE SAME COLORS, and placed him as a fox-accompanied semi-immortal magical shopkeeper at the end of the manga; in the case of CLAMP's expy, it's less of a homage and more straightup art-theft. But they're a bunch of pxdophiles so they have no morals.) The original chars were themselves bard of characters from DBZ and Plant Dolls.
It's interesting to trace expies from generation to generation in anime and manga; I guess it's sort of an autistic hobby of mine. It's not really an obsession, just something that I notice because I was an art major and I'm really bored.
