I've been watching a Spanish one of these. He really like to encourage followers to share tips, strategies besides his own and send him videos of their online battles besides their own, and upload them while commenting them like a damn sportscaster. entertaining and instructive.

I like top ten videos as much as the next guy, I believe some topics have general appeal (like favourite/least mons/shinies/etc) bit some are ducking stupid. I’ve swear that I’ve seen one that was “Top ten times Pikachu was caught gut by team Rocket” and “top five early route Pokémon”. I mean I get that people waste time making and watching whatever they want but those subjects are Straight up fucking stupid

I just don't understand why people care about semi-famous or famous peoples opinions like that. But then again I've never been the type to obsess over celebrities. As far as I can tell it's just to reaffirm your own tastes by comparing it to someone you look up too.

There used to be some nuzlocke vid on youtube where some guy wiped to HGSS whitney because he was too stupid to level Heracross enough for Brick Break. He reset and tried again.

After i pointed out how it's not a nuzlocke anymore he deleted the video

The only times I've seen good Pokémon content on yt was from people who aren't even poketubers. None of the Pokémon dedicated channels feel genuine or laid-back, it's people who don't give too much of a fuck that are fun to watch. Stuff like this makes me feel like I'm more or less on /vp/:

there are like 440 fully evolved pokemon excluding forms, and almost 30 of them are Ubers I think; 1 weekly means he'll end in like 8 years, hopefully we'll get at least 2 more generations in said years and so we'll get more vids, the problem is his vids surely will be shorter talking about how good was Mimikyu or the Tapus unless he pull a "for this video I'll be covering smogon singles, doubles, monotype, AG, VGC and even TGC"

Knowing about spoilers of Necrozma I kinda built a team around it. Had a bulky fairy, tyranitar and Metagross. I've never had such a stacked nuzlocke.
Didn't loose anyone there but I felt like I cheesed it with building k owing necrozmas type and what not.
It's smart strike caught me off guard and nearly one shot tyranitar. Z-Crunch barely did 50% to it too. Just cheesed resisted switches and let sandstorm chip HP.
