>>34368929>All of the starters have decksNot true, unless you are referring to the starter decks that no one plays because they are a generic product aimed at children. The following cards exist for each of the starters
>Incineroar(SM 26/49)
Generic starter for starter decks, Fire fang is too expensive for the effect, Darkest Lariat is a flip attack that averages at 100 damage for 3 energy, which has 2 fire energy so no DCE. Shit card.
(SHL 17/73)
Profane Punch is like a worse Drampa GX Beserk, but on a non GX attacker could have a niche if it wasn't on a stage 2 pokemon. Flare Blitz hitting 180 is nice, but the 2 energy removal in a format where fire lacks a card like Emboar is too much to be any good. Shit card that could have a place in a different format.
Incineroar-GX (SM27/149)
Hustling Strike maxes out at 110 with a full bench, 170 with a sky arrow bridge in play in extended. This would be okay for one energy, but there are better bench size attackers, and ones that aren't stage 2s that give up 2 prizes. Tiger Swing averages at 130, can hit 180 if lucky, but costs 3 energy on a stage 2 GX that isn't fairy, metal, psychic, water, grass or electric (the current accelerating colours). Not worth it. GX attack is 230 effectively, not worth it. Worst of the starter GXs.
>Primarina(SM 41/149)
Very much an intro deck starter. Disarming voice is bad on a stage 2 for 2 energy, Sparkling Aria isn't great. Bad pokemon, next.
Primarina-GX (SM 42/149)
Bubble Beat is an attack with potential because of Aqua Patch, Palkia-EX and the like. Roaring Seas is expensive, but is able to take advantage of Aqua Patch and Palkia EX to accelerate out and has good control elements getting rid of energy. Grand Echo-GX is an interesting GX move that would be amazing on a better card, but gives it room to be played in a niche tier 2/3 deck (Lapras-GX/Primarina-GX/Palkia-EX). Its an alright card.
