>>34344218None of us are asking to get healed as often as the game does, or needing to, we just don't throw a bitch fit because the game wants to save us time. When you fight team skull for the first time and immediately fight Ilima afterwards, he heals your Pokemon. If he didn't heal you and didn't provide the option to delay his battle, you could be treated to the divine joy of fighting Ilima with slightly lower health, and either steam-rolling him like you were already going to, or dying to him, and then coming back with full health and beating him that time. I have no interest in that, and I'm not sure why you do.
Same goes for fighting Red and Blue. If I fight them right after the veterans, unless I'm doing really well, I'll lose. And then I'll walk all the way back after blacking out, and beat them. Or, the game could not waste my time by forcing me to back-track/black out, and just put me at full health right then.
>>34344191I like playing with lower levels and in set mode, it makes the battles more challenging. Having to backtrack to heal at the center isn't challenging though, it's tedious. Like I said, rather than backtracking I usually just progress through as much of the route as I can and black out whenever.
