>>34354432Ghetsis just happened to stumble upon him in a forest one day and decided to use N's pure heart to accomplish his evil plan.
It doesn't mean N's goals weren't any less substantial. N intended to do X, Ghetsis intended him to do Y. Hell, N stood up to his foster father in B2W2 and disowned him over their respective differences.
>Zero exploration possible. Unova was just a fucking circle with no way to deviate off the beaten path. Plus did I mention ALL THE FUCKING USELESS BRIDGES?Yes, the region was linear, but most Pokemon regions are linear. You have very few exploration options outside of Kanto. Hoenn was linear, Sinnoh was linear, Kalos and especially Alola were linear.
Pokemon games aren't shit because they are linear. Yes, having little exploration or choice sucks, but at least BW gives you options to explore an entire route before moving on. For example, heading into Mistralton Cave and solving its puzzles before moving on to the main cave.
>Story culminated in "Truth vs Ideals" but made ZERO effort to tie it into the actual story. Like why even mention it?That's the main theme of the games. Truth and ideals are what brought Reshiram and Zekrom to life. Most people either lean to having truth or ideals, including the original two princes. The older prince wanted truth, while the younger prince wanted ideals. The original dragon wanted to be with both princes, so it split its body into Reshiram, Zekrom, and the husk (Kyurem). Reshiram sided with the older brother, Zekrom sided with the younger brother.
But deep down both dragons wanted the two brothers to reunite, for truth and ideals to come together. That's why they chose you and N, as people with a perfect balance of truth and ideals. They are trying to fulfill their desire to reunite the two brothers spiritually through you two.
The story ends with the ultimate revelation that truth and ideals aren't black or white; there are many shades of truths and ideals.
