That and they could be Tricked, Knocked-Off, or Bestowed, so there some more diversity to using them compared to Z-Crytals. Not to mention the attacks not only get a boost, but keep their effects.

Shit, just lower the boost they give and GF could bring them all back.

I wonder if there's a move where using it would be better than using Normalium Z? Maybe with moves with extra effects like Tri-Attack or Bodyslam. I could see spread moves like Boomburst or Explosion having better boosts with Normal Gem than with Normalium Z as there isn't a cap to the gems and it doesn't erase their spreadability.
