Itt: /vp/ stops bitching about USUM and we describe our idea of the perfect pokemon game.
Here's the format:
>region
>main story
>returning aspects from other games
>removed aspects
If you really want to:
>starters (they have to already exist)
>Gym leaders/e4 members/champion (same deal)
>main legendaries

I'll start:
>Jotoh
>Team Rocket has Giovanni back and is using DNA cloning to make more powerful versions of Ho-ho and Lugia, which they plan on mind-controlling with Mewtwo to do their bidding, only way to defeat them is to find Celebii and travel back in time to stop it from happening
>Pokemon following, a distortion world like dimension of time paradoxes, ORAS dexnav and PSS/ST/PA
>HMs can be forgotten regularly again, TMs have infinite use, EXP share is reverted back to pre-difficulty raping settings

HGSS is the closest thing of a perfect pokemon game when you look at everything. BW2 are still my favorite for gameplay changes and PWT but I miss features like following pokémon and the photos with your whole team.

I'm not the worlds biggest fan of Gen2 but that was what a remake should be in terms of effort. Can't believe how half assed ORAS was.
