sash weavile was the only one enjoying the naga spam, and even it wasn't a completely reliable revenge killer, but it was raising in usage. AV ttar and heatran were the only ones able to stop it (and not always)

they are only used to check naga, that's it, they have no purpose outside of that, and aren't even good checks considering they can be worn down (ttar especially) so naga can then break through them later.
Naga forces you into two options when it comes out, switch into ttar, heatran or AV mag, or lose your current pokemon. There's some counterplay with ttar and pursuit, but thats it, it just switches out against anything else without fear
