Midnight Lycanroc improved a lot in USUM. Iron Tail, elemental punches and Stomping Tantrum are good for coverage.

Isn't it the steel types rockfags should complain about?
- Steel replaces rock as the better defensive type that resists normal.
- Some rock types that lose their type in favor for steel like Steelix and Mega Aagron.
- Rock type specialists turning into steel type specialists like Jasmine and Steven.
- Steel type loved by many because it's good in competitve and rocks hated by many because of sneaky pebbles.

Sneaky pebbles is the fucking WORST to happen to rock type. You don't even need a rock type now, you just need a filthy steel type to throw some hidden stones to do their work.

I used an Armaldo for the first time in US and I must say he is quite the beast. His speed is surprising and using a quick claw helps too. His rock/bug typing have a nice coverage over weaknesses and he just has so much attack to throw around. Can't learn leech life unfortunately but x scissor is fine too. Pretty great Pokemon imo

I really like the Rockruff line as they break the mold when it comes to rock-type designs. Day doggo is one of my favorite Pokémon in general.

What do you mean? Why the type order is Ground/Rock while the others are Rock/Ground? Or why Rhyhorn stays Ground/Rock while the others became Steel/Ground, Rock/Dark, and (got replaced by) Rock/Electric?

If you mean the former, I guess the answer is that the others are more heavily rock-themed. Geodude and Onix are literally made of rocks (hence being in the Mineral egg group) and Larvitar eats rocks and also loses its Ground typing when it fully evolves. If you mean the latter, it's probably because Ground and Rock make a pretty shitty defensive combination.
