>>34372691I think its one of those things where the truth lay somewhere in the middle between what Groudonfags say and what Kyogrefags say. It's kind of dumb to expect these games to completely overhaul the entire game seeing as how that has never happened before except for maybe BW2. But it also feels like Ultra wrote some big checks that it couldn't cash. It sounds good when you look at the trailer and it says EXPLORE THE ULTRA SPACE and you see this grandiose new area. Only to get their and find out it consists of a single hallway and a set of stairs. It sounds good when you say FIND THE PORTALS AND TRAVEL LIGHTYEARS TO FIND LEGENDARY POKEMON only to do it in practice and find out its a slightly more involved version of the Hoopas.
I think I'm not angry because I had my expectations tempered. I wasn't expecting an entirely new game so wasn't crushed but I still found the new scenarios ending right as they were starting to get good.
