speaking of, can I get a recommendation for an earthquake+stone edge user? I'm missing one of these for my team. I mostly just play around with friends but one of the few rules we have is no legends so no lando of course

Rhyperior if you want actual Rock+Ground type. Mega Aerodactyl and Tyranitar (Mega and regular are both good) are pretty potent if you care more about STAB Stone Edge. As far as ground types go, you got Krookodile and Diggersby, with Diggersby probably being your best choice all around for non-legendary EdgeQuake users. Before Primal Groudon happened it had the strongest Earthquake in the game.
