>>34387228For me it wasn't the lack of a battle frontier that made the games bad. When the games were announced, I was just expecting an Emerald/Platinum style game with some new features. The thing is, GF and the developers kept hyping up the game as if it was going to have more new content than Emerald/Platinum so I started expecting more from the game. Then, when I bought the game, the main story was even less different than Emerald and Platinum were from their predecessors .Even the post game isn't really what I thought we were getting. These games aren't garbage but they are far from being great. GF just marketed the games like they were great and when they turned out to be average, I was seriously disappointed.
