No, just prevent retconned Pokemon from being transferred to the new games where their existence is retconned.

For example, new game removes undesireables such as Incineroar and Crabominable. That would prevent Incineroar and Crabominable from being transferred to the new game. They can still be in the bank and you can do whatever you want with them, just not transfer them to the new games from now on.

Weak to 6 very common typings and no defense.

It only works in Trick Room but considering Stakataka does it's job much better, can set up it's own TR whether as part of a TR team or a late game sweeper rend r it extrmely null

Ice shard+Mach punch would still do nothing cuz it's hitting shit with pitiful bp. Those moves would only work very well with technician
