I was in fucking love with Electivire when it was revealed, and Garchomp too.

Gen 4 was such a wonderful time. Leaps and bounds ahead of gen 3, it felt like such a wonderful move forward for the battle system, and we got games packed full of content. Plus, Battle Frontier coop over wifi, something which still hasn't been introduced in the Maison or Tree. The online being dead is incredibly depressing, because good luck getting stuff like Spiritomb now.

Yeah you have to play with yourself in the underground 5 times or something, its a pain in the ass I'd imagine. But I want to get another one someday, I still have some EV trained monsters in gen 4 just for the Battle Frontier.

Gallade was my favourite Pokemon of all of them until Gen 5, where Samurott beat it. Gallade is probably barely in top 5 these days because recent gens have added so many Pokemon I adore.
