That makes their value greater. If you want something with an apricorn ball, you need to catch it in HGSS, breed it from an HGSS parent, or pull it off from one of the few in Alola. I think that the exclusivity makes that cooler. I like that you can't get every Pokemon in every ball, and I like that certain balls are harder to come by for certain species.
It's like the Sport Ball. I think it's cool that you can't have everything running around in a Sport Ball. That way, trading or breeding or grabbing something in a Sport Ball feels more momentous than everything being available everywhere in every game.
