that's just mean, man

It's not horrendous, it's just extremely different from typical "Pokemon" looks. Although, you DO have a good point; there are quite a few Pokemon that could definitely pass for Ultra Beasts.

DUMB FAN THEORY:
Pokemon like Regigigas, Bronzong,
the creation trio, and all other weirdos like those guys came from Ultra Space and stayed long enough in the Pokemon world to lose Beast Boost like how Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma did,
and all the "normal" ones, like Pidgey, Pidove,
Deerling, Finneon, etc. are actually from the "regular" Pokemon world. Is this a sound theory or is it too dumb?

If so, they should've went full otherworldly. Kartana is something almost normal, but even Guzzlord and swolebug would've been normal pokemon if you tone down their core characteristic.
