Probably good, I like everything he's done so far. Would probably prefer Hitoshi Ariga to do them, the megaman guy. Inkay line, Kalos fossils, Grubbin line, Honedge line, Mega Beedrill, Minior - the guy is a legend.

Actually my question is why did they let James start designing pokemon. Did he have prior experience making character designs elsewhere? Hes like the only non jap who just gets the ability to make mons for some reason. Like he literally just came out of nowhere and made shit for gen 5.

He was working for Genius Sonority for quite some time, his first credited title being Pokemon Colosseum. He then became art chief for Gale of Darkness, and then art director for Trozei and Battle Revolution. He later joined Game Freak and worked on his first mainline title, BW. Interestingly enough, he was also the director for HarmoKnight and Tembo the Badass Elephant. He's clearly pretty good at what he does, so I can see why they trusted him to make Pokemon.

As someone who like most of Turner's designs, I'm gonna say no. I like that there's multiple people that design mons cause it gives a better variety. That goes away if they're all designed by just Turner.
