Y'all said that UltraSun and UltraMoon fucked up Lusamine's story, but...I just finished UltraSun and I understand her motives (and what the fuck was going on) better than I did in the originals.

Her complete disdain for both her children makes no sense with this setting and it goes away just like that.
She still put several pokemon in carbonite and nobody ever questions it in any way after the reveal, not even when they're still there at the end of Episode RR.
Claims protecting as many pokemon and people as possible is her target but she still goes for cosmog torture when she could just ask the URS to hitch a ride.

Demented loner was more interesting than useless hero complex anyway.

Lusamine's backstory is still relevant in USUM; after Mohn disappears, she goes off to fight Necrozma by herself because she doesn't want to endanger Lillie or Gladion.

In terms of Pokemon Lusamine was a fresh antagonist since most people never played "generic" JRPGs. Stop trying to force this meme.

I keep seeing this but with no examples. As somene who liked SM Lusamine can someone tell me what games have similar villains? I haven't really touched any rpgs besides pokemon.
