Alright /vp/, Pokemon just became real and you were declined to get a starter from a Professor. You are open to pick any first stage Pokemon as a starter aside from the typical trios; who would you pick and why?
Pic related. Crobat is Brobat, most of my campaigns I got Golbat to evolve by Level 25 so it was fun to have a fast Poison type. Never cared about having the strongest team, just preferred sticking with ones I liked.
