Why do so many people think the distinction between a new form and a new Pokemon is large enough to make Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon so great?
What exactly makes the likes of Naganadel so much better than the likes of Mega Beedrill?
Both require a brand new model, both require new stats and abilities.
They take around the same amount of effort to create.
The point I'm trying to make is, that as much as I hate ORAS at the least it managed to introduce 20 new forms. While USUM only introduced 10 new monsters (5 forms, 5 actual mons)
Why is this midgen game praised for having half of the amount of new additions just because 5 of them are new mons instead of forms?
Does the difference in naming really make that much of a difference?
