MMORPG based on Island of the Giant Pokemon
In this universe, the island is said to be cursed, because so many Pokemon wash up there. They even developed some towns. There are plenty of NPCs that give basic MMO quests. Fetch berries or lost objects, defeat rogue Pokemon and wild Pokemon.
You level up but your exact level isn't tracked. You just gain exp for performing actions and completing quests. On a level up, you gain prestige, a stat that is basically a virtual dick. The bigger it is, the higher your social standing. It's entirely up to other people how they interpret you.
When performing Raid quests, players form a group and elect themselves for their position of choice. If more than one person elects for the same position, the other players vote. Once positions are settled your group heads out on the quest.
Positions include Leader, Tanker, Combat Supporter and Status Supporter.
Leader mainly designates actions. Can highlight positions, qte react to pop up weak spots to make that spot a weak spot that their team can see for several seconds, while also using his own attacks and items.
Tankers have high health and low attack/movement speed. Pretty simple.
Combat support are able to pull off several combo moves for extra damage. Actions such as lifting a teammate with their vines, carrying a teammate as they fly around, reviving a teammate, etc.
Status supports can carry extra items in addition to their moveset being oriented toward healing moves and curing status.
The position you're assigned is completely superficial. You build your character the way you like and you're intended to elect yourself to the right position. The better you perform and how many of your moves match your position effects your prestige gain at the end of a mission.
